To provide renewed support for the Home Finder position for the Step-By-Step program aimed at helping seriously disturbed children in foster care step down to progressively less restrictive levels of care. The Home Finder focuses on the recruitment and retention of therapeutic homes for these emotionally disturbed children who require higher levels of care. The goal is to offer the children a range of services which will enable them to return to their families or to prepare for adoption.
