To provide salary support for a new Street Outreach Worker position at their newest site, the Pomonok Community Center in Flushing, Queens. They recently assumed responsibility for the failing Center in the 35-building Pomonok Housing Development and are rebuilding programs and services. The Outreach Worker will develop and implement a plan to engage youth ages 12 to 21 in positive youth development activities. This community-based settlement house provides services and programs throughout Queens.
