To provide business law services and educational programs in the area of accountability to organizations serving low-income youth and children. Lawyers Alliance will focus on the three areas that are at the core of accountability pressures facing the nonprofit sector – sound governance, transparency in financial reporting, and proper personnel management. The grant will allow Lawyers Alliance to represent 20 organizations on 25 separate legal matters and provide workshops on legal issues related to accountability.
