The first installment of a $114,000 grant payable over two years, to support a Clinical Social Worker position for their Family Services Program. Many students are unable to function normally in an academic environment because of challenges in their personal lives. Through this effort, students and their families are referred to a full array of support services, including individual and family counseling. The goal is to help families address the issues in their lives so they can focus on their educational goals and break the cycle of poverty.
