To provide renewed support for a Coordinator for the Career Exploration Project, an employment skills and internship program for court-involved youth. The program builds young people’s basic job readiness skills, provides them with a structured work experience, expands their perception of career options open to them, and helps them stay committed to education. The program, which includes a one-month employment skills training segment and a ten to twelve week internship, serves 120 youth annually.
