To provide renewed support the afterschool program which serves fifty children in kindergarten through grade three from local schools in West Harlem. The program runs five days a week during the school year, providing literacy-nurturing instruction and support. The Reading Team is an early intervention program which is dedicated to enabling the young children of West Harlem to become competent and enthusiastic readers, writers, listeners and speakers.
