To provide support to expand the new Adult Literacy Program at their OBT North Site, which currently serves 135 low-income adults, to serve an additional 60 adults. The program provides three ongoing courses to meet the individual needs of the participants: English as a Second Language (ESL); Adult Basic Education (ABE); and Adult Secondary Education/GED Test Preparation. The goals are to enhance the literacy and life skills of participants, and to enable them to gain increased opportunities for employment.
